Hi, my name is Chris and when I’m not being a cyclist I can be found working hard in the office and being the best husband and father I can be.
Cycling first started for me back in 2011 after moving to a new house which took me 15km further away from my office. After that quickly realising the huge expense of getting a train to/from work every day I decided to try commuting by bike.
I threw myself in at the deep end and went straight for a road bike and clippless pedals from day 1. Coincidentally this was the first day I came off my bike by forgetting to unclip at traffic lights but we’ve all done that, right?
After that first day though, I was hooked. So, several years (and a several grey hairs) later I can be found spending as much of my spare time as I can riding around the Peak District taking in some of the beautiful roads and views England has to offer.
