Hilda Lamar (1983) Asturias (Spain)
Hi everyone! My name is Hilda Lamar, I’m 37 years oldand I from Asturias, in the North of Spain.
Sports has been present in my life since I was a child. When I was 6 years old, I started to play basket in theschool team and nowadays, I’m still playing in a Asturias female team 😊 However my passion for cycling is recent, I had an old and heavy bike but one day I could test a carbon bike with a 29 wheels, with a female frame… and the feelings were very different I used to.
I began to discover incredible places in my environment which I had never seen before even though they were close to me and I met wonderful people too. Since then, I can’t imagine my life without the bicycle (without basketball either!) And I would like to continue enjoying cycling for many many years.
