Christoph Kerst (1978) Múnich ( Germany)
My name is Christoph. I am 42 years old and come from Germany, Munich. To be honest, I never understood how to ride a bike on thin tires between cars. So I ran marathons and in between I rode a bit of mountain bike.
As is the case at some point in old age, My doctor advised me not to run. So something new had to come. Easter 2018 was the time. I bought my first road bike (N). The beginning of a financial disaster. 🙂 My first tour was a bit over-motivated.
If I can run 40km, then I can also cycle 120km. In the end I was totally finished but happy and a little bit addicted. In the meantime, I spend almost every free time on or with my road bike (N+2).
I like to try out new materials and innovations. My longest distance so far was 410km in one day.
My motto: «I’ve never tried this before, so I’m sure I can do it!»
