My name is Svenja. I was a semi-professional swimmer back when I was a teenager. I loved climbing, hiking and running, well, I still do, I just don’t find much time for it anymore. But I never was into cycling…
Until I started my new job with a multichannel retailer of bike and outdoor products. It was more out of a sense of obligation that I bought my first bike. That’s where it began 4 years ago.
I love solo rides with my road bike – no matter the weather or the season-, commuting with my Fixie, enduro and trail rides all over the world, I even love the climbs a lot. You won’t see my in a cable car all too often.
But what makes me perfectly happy and satisfied, where I can clear my mind and enjoy every moment to the fullest, are long distance backpacking rides on my gravel bike alone or with lovely companions.
One of the great things about cycling is that you always meet beautiful people.
That’s what they call a passion, I guess.
