Hi I´m Anja, living in the northern south of Germany near Nuremberg – wonderful area for cycling as we do have wineyards, some seas as well as some middle mountains called “franconian swiss”. #daslebenspieltmeinenbeat (life plays my beat) is my slogan, because I´m pretty sure, that how we react to the world, people, situations, etc. this creates our life: so stay positive and positive things will come back to you and it´s easier with a positive mindset to overcome obstacles.
Roadbikecycling is part of my life since 2006 – I was successfully infected by a guy who is my husband today 😉. Since 2007 I did no single holiday vacation without my bici. I love the near to the nature, to fight and to grow with every single challenging mile and I love good material. 2010 I founded a local cycling group “velosistas and friends” to attract more women for this sport. I´m also an Indoorcycling Instructor for Tomahawk, ICG.
Even though I stopped 2014 cycling on a competitive level I love to train systematically and to push myself. As I´m not anymore very passionated about big crowded cycling events, most of the time I cycle alone, twosome or with friends in a smaller groupetto. In wintertimes also some kilometers on my cyclocrosser. I love to explore foreign countries on my bike as well as riding in my favorite country Spain, especially Andalucía (Region Cadiz, Sierra Grazalema) and the area of Girona/Catalunya.
