ALWAYS ON THE RUN
I’ve always been a runner. Running away from problems or running toward the solution. But always on the run. I’ve competed in a couple of marathons (Berlin, NY, Paris, Köln, Rotterdam, etc.) and other fun runs but after a while I wanted to broadening my horizon a bit. I then went cycling. Nowadays, my bike is my best friend. I’m a cyclist now. And a runner.Sometimes i ride to proof i still exist.
I then challenge myself during Granfondos or during training rides. It can provide a unique and rich sense of fulfillment and pride, regardless of outcome.
I’ve ridden several Granfondos such as Ötztaler Radmarathon, Mallorca312, Marmotte Alpes, The Ride, etc. All epic Rides that leave you with memories that will last a lifetime.Sometimes i ride to forget i exist.
No clubs, no rules, just ride and soak in the elements. Long rides for the silence and for the void. Random thoughts do fall into and out this void. Endorphins suppress the pain and induce a feeling of happiness. It’s more akin to meditation or mindfulness. Lost in the briefest of moments, everything disappears.
