Jose Gabriel Guillen Maldonado (1977) Roquetas de Mar (Spain)
Hi Allblackers!
My name is Jose G. Guillén @losviajesdegarbanzo. I was born in July of 77 and I am from a small town in the Alpujarra of Almeria, in southern Spain, although I live close to the sea of Alboran, in Roquetas de Mar. I am proud father of Jose (6 years) and Dani (2 years ), and happy and in love with Ana’s husband.
For some time I have been on Instagram to Allblack.cc as it seems to me one of the most interesting cycling communities. I am attracted and love his philosophy and aesthetics. All the photos that are hung are amazing, as are your stories, so it was a great surprise and I am glad to receive the invitation to be part of this family, corpanting this passion, this madness …
The origin of my history in cycling is lost in time. I don’t know exactly when I started riding a bike. Maybe with three or four years, like any child. What I do know is that since then in my memories they have something in common: in all of them there is a bike, my bike … I have wonderful moments, unforgettable memories such as my routes, adventures, my bike trips with a tent and my children throughout various countries of Europe, all of them wonderful. I also remember when I met my wife, on a bike, of course, and when I walked her sitting on my handlebars on «The Plaza de Las Flores» in Dalías, my town … And a thousand more memories …
I have practiced and practiced many sports and competed in many of them: triathlon, duatlon, mtb, Cross, Mountain races, mountaineering, water sports such as water skiingor surfing … All of them, outdoor sports that keep you in touch with nature and in turn with yourself … Today I look for my limits in long distance races on mtb and try to keep fit through fitness, swimming and running, and in summer, to travel by bike with the kids and our store Bell…
I enjoy this sport every day, which is a way of life for me. I am happy to see how my two children have been bitten by this bug and refuse to get off their bikes, and this, for me, is priceless …
Proud, lucky and grateful to be one of you …
