Hi my name is John Pattison, I am 55 years young, I live in the UK an cycle mainly in the Peak District.
I recently got back in to cycling in 2014 after the Tour De France came to the UK. I joined a local club and started road riding a little more seriously, starting at 30 miles moving up to club runs now that can be 80+ miles with my ride in and back home. I have completed a Coast to Coast of 150 mile in a day sportive, Wales in a Day 184 miles sportive , Ride London 100 mile sportive and various others. I run a Facebook group for people doing Ride London that now has 4500 members.
Being out on the bike is my free time and time to think. I ride All Year in the UK and cover on avg 120 miles a week. Last year was my strongest year covering 7345 miles in total and I plan to cover at least 6000 miles this year. All my Instagram pictures are taken by me using my phone on a timer, please feel free to follow me.
