Sandra Șarlea (1994) Cluj-Napoca (Romania)
Hello, my name is Sandra, I was born in 1994 in Romania and started my cycling journey in 2019. Little did I know back then how much joy a bike can bring. I started by exploring local trails, and with every ride I wanted more and more. Longer rides, new routes, bigger adventures, so I ended up planning my first bikepacking trip to Cyprus. It was a amazing. It changed my life. Meanwhile I moved to Germany, I started training with a cycling coach and now I am looking forward to take part to different races as an amateur athlete.
If someone would ask me what I love about cycling, it’s definitely the freedom and power it gives you. The empowering community, the slow travel, the fun. Everything comes in the package.
With every ride and little adventure I share on my little instagram page, I hope I can inspire someone to go grab the bike and have some fun.
