Hi everbody my name is Heidi Nielsen.. thank you for membership of your cycling community, I’m honored… I come from Denmark, the cold north where we almost drown in mud and water all winter…. but It’s very fun and instructive to shred around in mud as well!!
I’ve been mountain biking for 3 years, my son-in-law gregers Pedersen is my great inspiration, he’s a cool downhiller who has run races in both Mexico and Chile.
I love challenging tracks and speed.
I am taking part in the Danish enduro series and Danish downhill cup and will run my first enduro race abroad this summer, I am very much looking forward to it.
I really enjoy the nature and mountain biking with all my sweet friends.several times a year I pack my bike and travel around in different bikeparks across Europe. Spain is my favorit destination especially Mijas Mountains. My big dream is a trip to Whistler in Canada.
a year ago I created a facebook group called «women do downhill» the purpose was to get more women into the enduro world. We are now about 120 cool women in the community.. I use the group to organize tours on the different tracks around Denmark, we do workshops where we geeks decents and technique, and share experiences with each other.
