Luca Rizzo (1988) Italy.
Hello, my name is Luca and I’ve been cycling for about 2 years.
Since I was a child, I’ve been suffering from a disease called Hemophilia.
Hemophilia is a blood disease that also affects the joints.
I started to ride a bike just for curiosity and also to get a little better with my knees. As soon as I started pedaling I couldn’t stop myself.
For my 28th birthday, my girlfriend gave me a vintage bike to start riding around the neighborhood.
It was very difficult. It was winter, I felt pain, it was just me and my bike but step by step, I burned more and more km … 30, 50, 100, 150 and now I’m training to go further. My happiness can’t be described. I’ve special friends that support me in every adventure.
Cycling makes me feel alive and free.
I try to jump on the saddle whenever I’ve a minute free. In the night, early in the morning, nevermind.
I don’t want to have limits. I only have goals to achieve.
